I Need Relief

jansmatters.com, June 17, 2026June 17, 2026

I need Relief.

My heart is heavy and my brain on fire.

I yearn for Rescue.

My thoughts are sad and my life feels hollow.

I crave Release.

My limits confine and my beliefs constrict.

I must Refrain.

My anger is ugly and my fury misplaced.

I seek Redemption.

My spirit aches to soar and meet no boundaries.

How about you?

December 16, 2023December 16, 2023

The shadows in the room deepened in the dim light caste by the green shaded desk lamp. The computer screen added an eerie glow. The gloom matched his mood.  He sat, head in hands. The desktop was covered with note papers, brown papers; typewritten, handwritten. His email, like the desktop,…
