I Need Relief

jansmatters.com, June 17, 2026June 17, 2026

I need Relief.

My heart is heavy and my brain on fire.

I yearn for Rescue.

My thoughts are sad and my life feels hollow.

I crave Release.

My limits confine and my beliefs constrict.

I must Refrain.

My anger is ugly and my fury misplaced.

I seek Redemption.

My spirit aches to soar and meet no boundaries.

How about you?

Finding Commonality

September 27, 2024October 6, 2024

Standing under the overhang, watching the rain pour down, I contemplated my trip back to my vehicle. On the way into the store my umbrella turned dramatically inside out, never again to turn right side out. I knew I would soon be chilled and wet. There were several others waiting…
