Updating Menu on the website

I still can’t seem to make my menu support sub-menu items, but I did learn something about menu updates today that might minimize someone else’s frustration.

Using APPEARANCES and Customize to get to the MENU option, I changed the menu, to add or remove items. I made the change, hit SAVE CHANGES, twice, but the changes were not being applied to my website.

I had to click on ‘Use Site Editor’ button from the Menu panel. Once there, I click on the HEADER, where menu navigation is controlled under my Theme. I then highlight the menu (by clicking inside the Header box). An edit box appeared and then I clicked ‘Select Menu’ and chose my most recent MENU update from the drop down.

Then, Saved and confirm the save and finally, the website was updated with the menu changes. Whew….
